A lawsuit was filed against Arif Kocabıyık, who interviews people on the street on YouTube as “İlave TV” channel, due to “insulting the President,” “insulting government authorities,” “public incitement for resentment and hatred” and “public provocation.” Kocabıyık is charged due to his street interviews on YouTube as well as his comments on various posts on Facebook, made 11 years ago, and a photograph of a rooster he shared on the social media with the writing, “There is a thief.” The second hearing of the lawsuit will be held on September 26, 2019.
